What is a CDSS?

The final decision always remains with the specialist.

Is MIS integration required?

No, integration with a medical information system is not required. ProColpo operates as a standalone web application — simply upload a colposcopy image via the browser. The system analyzes images, not device data, making it compatible with colposcopes from any manufacturer.

What image formats are supported?

Standard image formats are supported: JPEG and PNG. Images are uploaded directly from the file system. No special equipment or export software is required.

What are the image quality requirements?

Optimal magnification range: 10–20× for extended colposcopy, up to 30× for vascular pattern detail. Insufficient magnification may hinder detection of abnormal tissue changes (acetic acid test) and iodine-negative zones, while excessive magnification (over 30×) may narrow the field of view. Recommended characteristics: objective focal length ~300 mm, eyepiece magnification 16×. Minimum recommended resolution — 720p HD (1280×720). The image must not be blurred. It is not recommended to use images taken with a phone camera — use a colposcope with digital output. The quality of uploaded images directly affects the accuracy of the system.

How many and what types of images should be submitted?

For a quality examination, it is recommended to submit a series of images from a single patient, including the stages of extended colposcopy: native image, after acetic acid application, and after Schiller's test (iodine). An objective result can be obtained from the combination of observations — the more stages represented, the higher the analysis accuracy.

Yes. We offer free trial access — you can evaluate the system using your own anonymized data. The process: demonstration → trial connection → physician training → pilot agreement.
